Discovery Phase

Working with Alé and Stefano of Agricola Farms was a great experience that enabled us to find the sweet spot for the particular Italian style of design and packaging they were after.

Where Italian Traditions meet Vermont Pastures

A plate of assorted cured meats and sausages with two glasses of white wine and one glass of red wine on a light pink surface.
Dark brown wallpaper with a repeating pattern of large purple floral motifs and curved stems.

Clovers make up a large part of their drove’s diet so a stylized clover pattern was created for the butcher paper.

A farm scene with pigs grazing in a grassy field, farm buildings, a silo, trees, and a clear sky in the background.
Sliced tomatoes, bread with salami, and lettuce on a wooden cutting board and a plate, with a knife on the cutting board.
Four sticks of Monti Verdi salami with different flavored labels: Classico, Picante, Aromatica, and Delicato, arranged on a brown background with a subtle leaf pattern.
Comparison of two packages of pork salami, labeled as 'Before' and 'After.' The 'Before' package is green with black and gold accents, while the 'After' package is white and yellow with more minimalist design.
Close-up of small white daisies with yellow centers blooming in a garden.

To create more of an authentic Italian aesthetic that had a flair of at home on the farm, we took a lot of inspiration provided by Alé and Stefano. As well as doing our own research, we were able to narrow in on a style that felt both grounded and representative of their farm.

For the label itself, a duo layered design was used to showcase the logo and flavor. A textured framing device is used to hold all the content together.
